5. Our lawful bases
Depending on the activity, we rely on your consent, steps taken at your request before entering an agreement, performance of applicable promotional terms, our legitimate interests in operating and improving Moodal, or compliance with legal obligations.
You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before it was withdrawn.
6. Marketing communications
We send marketing only where you have consented or another lawful basis permits it. You can unsubscribe using the link in any email or by contacting legal@moodal.group. We may still send essential administrative messages connected with a registration or offer you requested.
7. Cookies and analytics
We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and HubSpot tracking and forms. Strictly necessary technologies may operate without consent where permitted. Non-essential technologies are activated only after consent where required. Choices can be changed through Cookie Settings.
8. Who we share information with
We may share information with trusted providers including HubSpot, Vercel, Cloudflare, Sanity, Google and Microsoft, as well as professional advisers, regulators, authorities and a successor involved in a corporate transaction. They may use information only as instructed or for their lawful responsibilities.
We do not sell your personal information or present third-party brands as Moodal partners unless a relationship has been confirmed.
9. International transfers
Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we use safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to approved standard contractual clauses, or another recognised mechanism.
10. How long we keep information

- Analytics: ordinarily no longer than 14 months in identifiable form.
- Security and technical logs: ordinarily up to 12 months.
We may retain information longer when required by law, needed for a dispute, or anonymised so it can no longer identify you.
11. How we protect information
Safeguards may include encrypted connections, access controls, authentication, restricted permissions, supplier reviews, monitoring, security logging, software updates and incident-response procedures. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
12. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive your information; object to certain processing; withdraw consent; challenge significant automated decisions; and complain to a data protection authority. Your right to object to direct marketing is absolute.
Contact legal@moodal.group. We may verify your identity and normally respond within one month, subject to lawful exceptions.
13. Automated decisions and profiling
The pre-launch website does not currently make solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects. We may use signup and engagement information to organise communications and understand interest. We will update this policy before introducing significant automated decision-making.
14. Children
The website and waitlist are not intended for children under 16. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
15. Links to other websites
We may link to third-party websites and services that we do not control. Please read their privacy policies before providing personal information.
